Program Details
Program Hours: 40 hours
Length: 1 week
Schedule: Monday – Friday (9am – 5pm)
Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide assists with activities of daily living (ADL’s) such as bathing, dressing, assists with feeding, and light housekeeping etc. Upon completion of the program, students will receive a certificate of completion and be able to provide personal care services to Medicaid waiver recipients or patients.
Basic Admission Requirements
- Student must be at least 18 years of age
- Student must be able to read, write and understand English.
- Valid Identification card [driver’s license, state ID, Passport, work authorization]
- Criminal background check
- TB Test (PPD test/Quantiferon gold test/chest X-ray)
- Hepatitis B
- Flu shot
- Covid vaccine
